What hours would I be expected to work as a tutor?

The hours you will be expected to work as a tutor will predominately be evenings and weekends as children are normally at school during the day.

Increasingly there are a number of home-schooled children who need support but these are still very much in the minority.

Some tutors work in local schools and again will find some hours during the 9 to 5 working day, but you must be prepared to work unsociable hours if you want to be a tutor.
